“改变自我” ――  来自哈佛大学的课堂教学艺术

报告摘要  I thought I was a good teacher until I discovered my students were just memorizing information rather than learning to understand the material. Who was to blame? The students? The material? I will explain how I came to the agonizing conclusion that the culprit was neither of these. It was my teaching that caused students to fail! I will show how I have adjusted my approach to teaching and how it has improved my students' performance significantly. 
       一直以来我都以为自己是一个好老师,直到发现我的学生只是死记硬背而不去深入理解。过错在谁呢?学生?还是教材?答案是令人苦恼的:既不是学生,也不是教材,而是我的教学方法导致的。在此,我将讲述我是如何改变教学方法使学生能力得到明显提高的。
