Dr En-Xiao Liu is the Senior Scientist and Deputy Director of the EP Department, Institute of High Performance Computing, Singapore. He has published over 80 papers in refereed international journals and conferences and two book chapters. He was the chair of the IEEE EMC Singapore Chapter. He received IEEE EDAPS best paper award, IHPC best paper award, two IHPC best industry project awards, and Singapore Ministry of Trade Industry Borderless Silver Award.

报告内容

Modeling and simulation plays an increasingly essential role in ensuring Signal-Power Integrity (SI-PI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in modern high-speed electronics and systems, especially at their design and verification stages. This talk will first give an overview of the 2.5D methodologies for SI and PI modeling, then present its latest development with emphasis on the 2D Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain (DGTD) method. Despite the much advancement in modeling, prediction of radiation from an electronic system is still not attainable solely by modeling. The second part of this talk will present a measurement-based equivalent source approach for radiation prediction.
